How the dated moving plan works
The generator anchors nine checkpoints to moving day, then changes selected actions based on service format, access complexity, booking status, packing progress, and household size.
Why the sequence matters
Inventory and access decisions come before supply purchases and detailed packing. Provider scope comes before reservations. Address and service changes are separated from the final packing window so paperwork does not compete with loading-day preparation.
move day − 56, 49, 42, 35, 28, 21, 14, and 7 days · plus moving dayIf the date is closer, past checkpoints are marked for review instead of being silently removed.
Calendar export
The downloaded ICS file contains one all-day event for each checkpoint. The file is generated in the browser from the displayed plan. Calendar programs handle imports differently, so verify event dates and reminders after importing.
Give each checkpoint a usable worksheet
Use the 8-week moving checklist when you need a fuller task list behind the dates. Add the change-of-address checklist to the paperwork checkpoints, then use the printable moving planner workbook to keep reservations, quotes, contacts, and open decisions in one place.
